I am So Tired of Being Tired!
So many of us suffer from chronic fatigue...or just plain being tired all the time! Granted, today's women are very busy juggling home, family and career. The question is...how can you get more done? How can you increase your energy levels and get more done (or even FEEL like getting more done)?
Have you ever woke up in the morning already tired? (I'll just sleep for 5 more minutes : ) Then as you go through the day, you find yourself dragging and drinking lots of coffee or energy drinks to make it through the work day. Then by the time you get home and bedtime rolls around...you're tired when you go to bed! And did you know that getting more sleep can sometimes make you more tired?! t's a crazy circle!
Being fatigued can really affect every area in your life. You may find that you are so tired that you cannot muster enough energy to do everything on the to-do list for today. Or you don't feel like going out with your friends because you're just too tired to go. Your kids are begging you to head down to the park for some catch, but you just can't do it. What about at work? Is there a project that you cannot get through because you are not able to focus and stay on track due to being extremely tired all the time?
What is the problem? Are you sick? Depressed? Just plain lazy?
The good news this is a common problem that CAN be addressed. As always, you should see your physician to rule out any serious health concerns. If you get a clean bill of health, you can get help without drinking pots of coffee, taking energy pills or drinking sugary energy "shots."
I can tell you this - a key thing to work on is achieving the proper balance of diet and exercise. The other thing is to get yourself into a correct sleeping cycle, so that you are getting quality sleep. In terms of getting proper sleep, it really boils down to quality vs. quantity and what a big difference it makes!
